Logistics & Technical

Located on the western side of the Datça Peninsula, Palamutbükü features a long bay and a well-protected small harbor. Yachts usually moor stern-to the quay inside the breakwater. The harbor provides excellent shelter from the prevailing northerly Meltemi winds. However, it can be exposed and subject to swells during southerly (Lodos) winds. Outside the harbor, anchoring along the bay is also possible on a sandy bottom with good holding. Sailors should be cautious of the shallow patches near the entrance and the existing mooring lines within the harbor.
